Some dark affairs of human rights infraction that occured on september is the 30th September movement of Indonesian Communist Party (PKI) or known as G30SPKI that become one of the dark histories in the Republic of Indonesia.
On 1965-1966, there were the incidents of serious human rights infraction cases againts those accused as being members of or being involved into Indonesian Communist Party (PKI), as a result, more than two million people have experienced the arbitrary arrests, detention without due process, torture, rape, sexual violence, forced labor, murder, enforced disappearances, and each other.
Based on the investigation results of KOMNAS HAM, arround
32.774 people were known to have disappeared. More over, the several places
were known as the locations of the massacre of the victims. While some other
research are represented that the victims are more than two million people.
The incidents not only about the victim, but the victim’s
family are also experienced the discrimination on charges of being the
Indonesian Communist Party (PKI) families. Furthermore, they must lose their
obs, many of them can’t continue their education, excommunicated from their
environment, and then difficult to find the work and a decent life.
Nowadays, the tragedy of the massacre on 1965-1966 was
entered into 56 years. But the state not yet fulfill their responsibilities to
give the justice for the victims. Besides, there a stagnation in the legal
process, the rights of recovery that should be received by the victims also not
maximally pursued. This condition makes the victims must be suffer in their lifetime.
Considered that many victims are was died because they are old.
